As you guys might have seen, I was very impressed with the Ryuutama RPG recently translated and released by Kotodama Heavy Industries. Imagine my surprise then when I got a message from Andy Kitowski asking if I’d like to contribute a scenario for their upcoming RPG: Shinobigami!

Of course, I was more than willing to contribute to the project and I’m excited to hear what people think about it when it comes out. If you’re curious about Shinobigami, head on over to their Kickstarter Page to learn more about it.

I’ve had the chance to check out the rules (as they are at this point in time) and I’m excited to have a chance to play this given that the game is structured very differently from the usual tabletop RPG. It’s a great game for one-shots and small campaigns and will be well suited to any RPG collection as a pick up game.

To see the Shinobigami kickstarter contributor announcement featuring me, check it out here!

  1. Jesper says:

Cool to hear, I’m already a backer so I’m looking forward to your scenario!

  2. Ivan Malvar says:

Where and how were you able to check out the rules? I’m backing this but release date is still a year out. I wanted to play this game yesterday!

    • Hey there!

I was able to score an early, early copy of the rules due to being a contributor to their Scenarios! I’m afraid I’m not at a liberty to share them publicly, but I do need to playtest the stuff I’m working on. Will let you know when I get the chance to do so!

      • Ivan Malvar says:

listening to podcasts and analyzing the info on the official website, I have a rough idea how things play out. I would be more than interested in joining a playtest should one be available 🙂
