Hey everyone! After an interesting week of watching the Polls, it turns out that we have a winner: The Phoenix Clan manages to pull a win from behind racing past the Scorpion in the last day by just a single vote!

Personally, I find the Phoenix Clan to be one of the more interesting Clan in the setting. Not only do they buck the standard government found in the rest of Rokugan, but having so many egos in one place with access to supernatural power often means lots of explosions.

Needless to say the Phoenix count among one of my favorite Clans, given that they have so many interesting personalities, all of which are highly motivated to get stuff done. Sure they might not all get along with how they do it, but that’s the fun part… at least, it is if you’re the GM.

So for the next week, I’ll be delving into the Phoenix Clan, paying attention to their Virtue of Humility, the Themes inherent in the Clan, and going into each of the Families that make up the clan, and offer some focus on the conflicts that work best with running an All-Phoenix game.

Looking forward to it!

I just read about them. It’s amazing how a clan with so many families that barely get along can manage to continuously preach their message of peace to others. 🙂 I can’t wait for the write up!

    Bah. Too easy!
