Kuro: From the makers of Qin The Warring States, Yggdrasill and Keltia.

Kuro is the Core Rulebook of a developing game setting that mixes a dark near future with unremitting Japanese horror.

Stay tuned for more information, further previews, creator interviews, video previews, downloads and Kuro’s own page in the coming weeks.

Holy crap. It is a good day to be a fan of 7eme Circle’s work. This sounds very intriguing, and snooping around in 7eme Cercle’s website got me this gallery of artwork from the game. Needless to say, Cyberpunk Japanese Horror has all the workings of something I would definitely love to run. Can’t wait to get more information on this!

  1. Horror and Cyberpunk; my two biggest draws in RPGs right now, so i think I’ll be keeping an eye on this one.

  2. Hey shortymonster!

Same here, I’m a big horror rpg guy, and I’ve been putting in some hours studying Sci-Fi games as well (Blue Planet and Fading Suns, to be specific.) Kuro’s announcement is some pretty timely stuff.

  3. It’s an awesome rpg in French(3 books and a DMscreen). i’m a big fan of horror rpg and it’s a really good one. Rules are smooth, d6 system with a twist: 4 is a miss( in Japan culture number four is unlucky…)

    • Hi there!

Thanks for the info! 4 as a miss is a nice touch as in Chinese culture the character for the number “4” when read sounds similar to the word for “Death” and is therefore generally considered unlucky.

Add to the fact that a lot of the D6’s available here in the Philippines are the ones with red colored pips on the 1 and 4 faces, it’ll make for interesting rolling on the table.
