Despite its name, the Shakha Foundation is a Cabal of Free Council futurists and their Mysterium allies, who are dedicated to the study of the Techgnostic practices as a means of forging the future of Awakened magic. While the Orders that make up The Shakha Foundation could be considered to be opposed to each other, they find a common ground in the fact that they all work in the field of technology.

Indra, is the leader of The Shakha Foundation and is a high ranking officer in the Japanese Self Defense Force, and is often unavailable for many Consilium functions due to his responsibilities in his mortal identity. That said, The Shaka Foundation has been in a state of upheaval due to the recent murder of Nanda, Indra’s daughter, by none other than Yasha, another member of his own Cabal.

Add the fact that there was an Acamoth caught transferring itself to the internet, and the Free Council mages are finding themselves under constant scrutiny and verbal attack by the more conservative factions of the Consilium. The Shakha Foundation is starting to go on the defensive, and has pulled their people and resources out from the Consilium’s eye. Rumor has it that the Cabal is reconsidering its membership in the Consilium.
