With my current Mage: the Awakening campaign hitting a high point, I’ve grown to appreciate Mage a lot more. I’ll admit that this first campaign was meant to be a test run of the game and nothing more. But with the stories spun out of it, and the awesome fun (and anxiety) we’ve gone through, I can be proud of my effort.
It’s not over (by far) but already I’ve got a few ideas in my head, just in case I’ve got the time (and popular support) for an encore, aside from my WW2 Mages vs the Thule Society idea.

The player characters are part of a B.P.R.D.-esque effort to locate, study, catalog and sometimes suppress these discoveries for the sake of those who are not ready to discover what Man Was Not Meant To Know.

Through mafia-esque scare tactics, favor trading, and manipulation they must find allies, destroy their enemies take over the city, all while trying to make sure that the Consilium doesn’t fall prey to the Seers of the Throne.
