[Spellbound Kingdoms] Combat Primer Review

Picking up on the rather heavy hinting by njharman of Troll & Flame, I’ve decided to put up a read through review of the upcoming Spellbound Kingdom’s Combat Primer, now available for download over at the Spellbound Kingdoms Website.

Written and Designed by Frank Brunner, Spellbound Kingdoms is an upcoming RPG set in a “A dark and paranoid magical Renaissance,”  a mix of all the things that interest me, and as such I’m following this game rather closely.  Frank has been very open about his design process, his hopes and expectations for the game, and regularly solicits feedback on multiple rpg forums, as well as his own website.  This is a great thing for me, since it’s always good to see a game designer that loves his work, but is perfectly open to hearing out ideas, comments and suggestions that he can consider, and benefit from.
