GM Interviews – Answers #3

Today’s GM interview is from Sheimaruen, one of the group’s two Exalted GMs.  As the GM representative of the younger end of the spectrum of our games (23 years old I think, correct me if I’m wrong, Sheimaruen.) His own range of influences and source material for games is distinctly different from my own.

This interview reveals Sheimaruen’s videogame-inspired approach to mechanics and obstacles, while maintaining an anime-eque mood and tone.  There’s also the mention of the “Rule of Cool” in terms of GMing, wherein if an action is sufficiently “epic” in the GM’s mind’s eye, then it might as well be successful.
